I just watched a "history of GLAM" documentary on TV, and KISS was not mentioned even once. They somehow came to the conclusion that Van Halen were the founders and start of Glam. Thats so ignorant and stupid, but thats what the documentary show claimed. Didnt KISS really revolutionize entertainment...

Its a pretty good overview from a General-Public rock fan. Thats the prevailing thinking about KISS. They think the stage show was to hide their crappy musical ability and poor song writing. Sad (and horribly untrue) but still the way KISS is generally perceived.
