Kiss Forum

Looks like KOL has basically shut the fans off completely. No more forums for fans opinions. I realize the band or KOL has no obligation to even read fans opinions but I thought it very nice to be able to communicate with each other. Now we have this forum! I am going to tell everyone I know about it and hope the come here also. It seems with no more $1000.00 tickets to sell for shows KOL has basically turned in to a place to buy past tour stuff and maybe a bit of news every once in a blue moon. As a fan of KISS since 1975, I now feel alienated from the "official site". It seem to me that we are headed for a long dry period with nothing but the new DVD from RTN tou(thankful for that) for a long time. I do have one question for KOL: Who Died And Made You Paul Stanley?

I also think the band is on a bit of a break. At least until Paul releases his solo cd, the only thing coming from the band will be the new live dvd. Next year will also bring the 100 song Gene Simmons box set of demos. So that is something else to look forward to as well .
But I sure am hoping that maybe late next year, they will maybe consider getting back into the studio, and doing another KISS cd for the fans. I think a rockin' cd with Tommy and Eric could catapult the band forward instead of living on past glories. Just my opinion though.

I agree on the fact that the band MUST have some new music if they are to expect a sucessful tour again. This one pushed it but it was my favorite and I have been going since 1977. I think that only the hard core fans would be willing to pay for basically the same songs over again as the past four tours. Do not get me wrong; I would be right there whenever they come around again. I would also love to see Pail tour solo if KISS does not tour. His solo tour was great. Say what you want about Bob Kullick (might be spelled wrong), be he was very good on pauls tour. A person can find shows from this tour if so inclined. Have to be careful about wording that!

Bottom Line: KISS, New CD, New Stage, New Show, New Make-up for Tommy & Eric, New Special Effects (Thunder,Lightning(High Tech stuff) would bring ALL the old fans and even create new fans that are old enough to want to come and not have to be forced to come by parents!! If new CD were to be hig quality written and performed followed by a Tour that of which the likes have never been seen, I can see a return of Kiss to the top!
