Re: Battle Of The Century !!!
How do you know it was sold at the concert in Atlanta?
I kinda doubt it was sold anywhere, otherwise it wouldn't be that rare and all those Return Of Kiss tourbooks would show up in the city it was sold.
If it was sold at a concert, there must be at least 1.000 copies around. I kinda daoubt that.
The Kiss Symphony Tourbook was also available at just one show, around 3.000 copies sold, but it isn't really rare.
Fact is they were printed and some copies (maybe one box) somehow got out.

Re: Battle Of The Century !!!
According to "Everything KISS":
"The story goes they were printed. The shot was rejected and as the tour dates needed revising they quickly replaced this tour book before the first show. When they played Savannah, they were out of the now revised tour books so the original versions were sent down so they had something to sell while more of the regular versions were printed. There apparently are photos from the Savannah show with the tour book on sale at the Merch stand. No one has been able to prove they were sold anywhere but here. Where they leaked from later is a mystery. Old Aucoin stock sold off? " ...
Just for info, Jared Decker ( Kollector from USA) has one copy with ticket from the show:

Re: Battle Of The Century !!!
Thanks for the info. I would like to see a photo of the tourbook being dispalyed at a show. If it does exist, where is it? There is no doubt they got printed and rejected. However, those rejected tourdates never became official and I am sure they got corrected a long time in advance. They needed a lot of time to promote the shows in advance those days. Enough time to print a new tourbook for sure. But would they carry a rejected tourbook on tour with them? I really don't think so. But it might be possible they carried a wrong box with them by mistake and they got sold. Who knows. A box usually contains 12 dozen (144 copies).
I don't think they leaked later, they leaked back in the day. I also do not believe they sold only this tourbook at a concert. There would be more copies around and the tourbook wouldn't be rare in that city and all those tourbooks would come from that place.
I only saw it about 3 times on eBay. I bought my copy on eBay about 12 years ago, it was something like 850 Dollars back then. First time I heard about it was 1996, I even didn't know it existed before that.
A ticket with the tourbook doesn't mean anything unless the person was there at the show personally and bought the ticket and tourbook himself.
