On the Ingo Floren book KISS COLLECTIBLES page 408:

According to Kiss Alive Forever by Curt Gooch and Jeff Suhs,some of these early versions were accidentally shipped to the june 30,1979,concert in Atlanta .
As the book was probably sold at this venue only,there are just a handful still in existence .
One of these books fetched the amazing price of $1,683.88 on ebay on july 15,2003.

Also,the band disliked the artwork,the books were withdrawn from sale,and the cover was revised to feature the album cover shot,the contents are the same as in the first edition of the regular book,including the Paul Stanley Ibanez ad.....

however $5000 and more just for an different cover......not too bad!!!!!!!!!

A couple of pages are diffeerent, what makes it special besides the cover are all the crazy tourdates. Two shows in almost every city.
