demonfly: 1977 is basically a sham.
It is entirely the work of one old tribute band member, with some help from a new one, and a sh**load of perptual hype. If these songs were old demos from Kiss that never got heard, or even new songs from the band, then they might be interesting (although not very good, the lyrics in particular). But they aren't. You will never hear this band live (for obvious reasons, plus the new guy is fed up and doesn't care)--it is ONLY a clever way to dupe you out of $15 for some half-assed attempt at "what would have come next", which any good tribute band coud do if they wished (plus actually play the songs live hahaha). Like it if you want to, but there's the truth.

I read about it elsewhere... still, the songs are good to listen, they look like Kiss and in some moment they're like the old Kiss, more than the 2008 Kiss...

If it's a scam, it's well done

I don't see the problem.
It's obvious it's a KISS rip-off
I mean - its fun to check out on myspace.
It's like a tributeband in a different way to me.

I hear ya! I gave it a shot. I did not like it, but it's cool for others who do :OK:

They are to KISS what The Rutles are to the Beatles, except the Rutles songs are actually... good songs!
