10 million bonus points are hereby awarded to SPACEMANFAN from Columbus, Ohio. Well done, sir!

I agree, how do you make off with two 6 foot cat statues unnoticed? Yet another KISS mystery (or KISStery, if you will).

The replacement cat statues (which were shorter and wider than the originals) made their debut on the Paul Lynde Halloween Special, filmed October 19 and 20, 1976.

Their concert debut was November 24, 1976 in Savannah, Georgia and were last used on March 7, 1977 in Hampton, Virginia.

Sid, thanks for the correction. Sometimes I get turned upside down.

The original cats were stolen during load out at Atlanta Fulton County stadium, I don't know who stole them but I do know who owns them now. They used to set them out at Halloween, but local "church" people raised too much hell so now they stay in the basement.
