Not sure of the date but I know this picture is in Chip Rock Dayton's booj, "Outtakes". The date might be in the book.

I finally found my copy if Chip's book. He says this was taken on 18Nov75, McMoran Place Arena, Port Huron, MI..

sure...if the photographer says so, then he`s right?...NOPE!
definitely not port huron! (different bass)...boots are also these early studded ALIVE-boots!

ok, he could have changed the instrument during the gig, but would he change boots?...NOPE!

the last time, gene was wearing these studded ALIVE-boots, was in late july 75, probably on the 23rd in wildwood!
...so it CANNOT be from port huron, cause there were 4 month in between, folks!

Passaic, NJ 1975-10-04. The info in Chip's book is not always correct.
