I AGREE THAT THE BOOK IS VERY INTRESTING READING, GREAT READING....BUT A BIG STORY LIKE CASABLANCA SHOULD PUT UP A LOT OF PHOTOS BY IT`S SIDE....THIS PIC HERE IS THE DEFININITIVE THE BEST FROM THE BOOK!!!! AND ROS HA HA EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT LE TANG STUDIOS PICS DONT GROWS ON TREES!!! THIS IS THE SECOND ONE ONLY THAT I HAVE SEEN!!! :mrgreen: WE DONT SEE THIS EVEREDAY!! The Larry Harris book doesn't specifically state the date. I arrived at the date by deduction from several different sources claiming that the audition took place on the last Friday in September 1973 which is the 28th.

Thanks for this great scan!!! Incredible that we got a pic from this kisstoric event. This was the first time Neil Bogart and Sean Delaney saw the band.
Sean has also said that he first saw them at the Diplomat Hotel, wich was before this took place(aug 10th) who knows what to believe of that.
Thanks again ros, and by the way: Congrats on the credit in the Vintage KISS photos book!! I was sure you had something to do with it!!

It's cool that you noticed the mention in Marc's book. It was very nice of him to do that.

For anyone reading this who hasn't purchased the book "Vintage KISS Photos 1974-1981" do yourself a favor and get one soon. You won't be disappointed.
