Fracho,
Am I to assume you think this photo was taken at a wax museum in Tokyo? Please explain.

Please tell me where you read that is the wax museum in Tokyo. I have never read that in any publication.

Fracho,
I've done some research and I believe you are mistaken about the wax museum location. In the Japanese KISS Encyclopedia from 1978 they show the itinerary for the tour and on March 31, 1978 is written "Godzilla" next to "Budokan". Also, if you compare photos of KISS backstage during the 1977 tour you will see it's the same room.

ROS... I AGREE WITH YOU... I ALWAYS THINK THIS IS AT THE BUDOKAN HALL BUT I THINK THE DATA (WAX MUSEUM OF TOKYO) THAT I FOUND MANY YEARS AGO WAS CORRECT...
SURE I AM WRONG WITH THIS, AND MAYBE CAN RECONFIRM IT IS BUDOKAN HALL...

I trust the printed itinerary from the Japanese publication as the quote in "KISS Alive Forever" does not actually state the specific date though it is listed under March 29.
It really makes no sense that these photos would be taken at a wax museum as there are no wax figures anywhere. Godzilla was a guy in a rubber suit, the dinosaur and lion were stuffed animals and the geisha girls were live human beings.
