Les Paulorama!!
Love this pic! Dificult for me to say where this is from. From the length of his hair I would say july-sept 75. The Les paul was said to be a `59. He sanded the back of the neck down so he could reach the high notes. I hope some day the old roadies can put out a book with all the details about every screw, guitar and props used by the band. That would have been something!!!!

Cool, never noticed the star on the head before. Great pic. I'm sure Ros can help out.

There is very few pic that shows the sanded part of the guitar I will try to post one that I think shows the detail.
And you can check out the detail in the Paul Stanley 74 section from Atlanta.

Acestubb ??? Brother ??? "This Les Paul was said to be a '59" ? I've seen your posts and I know that you know your Ace stuff WAY better than that !!! Nobody, including Ace or myself has ever said this guitar was a '59. This is Ace's '73 Les Paul Deluxe. Re-read that page on my site. LOL !!!!
