That's definitely an Ovation Breadwinner guitar, but I don't think this is from 1973. Ace's hair and the ring on his right hand would seem to point more towards this being 1976, at some point.

naaa...dude! check back this site...
this is definitely from november 73 at the bell sound studios in NYC...
on some other pics from this session he wears the same ring and watch,
together with his famous studded "ace" shirt from that period...
