Wasn't this for a photo session? His bass is not connected with a cable at all. Could this be from the ALIVE II photo sessions? You can see the different make up design that he is having here (there are no little horns/spikes on the bridge of his nose). Fantastic shot!

acestubb is correct. This is from August 19, 1977 in San Diego. Interestingly, this early Spector bass had an additional functioning output jack on the back.
