I considered the idea that this might be a Photoshop job, as I've never known Vinnie to use a Les Paul, but just in case...

i think- he played 'les pauls' (etc.): before he got- his 'jackson'-series (the 'randy-rhoads'- proto-type: never used- by randy (since- he was killed)).

Yeah Vinnie used a Gibson Les Paul. I seen him playing them in one Metal Magazine I viewed in the mid 1990s that did a tribute to Kiss. He also uses BC Rich Mockingbirds too.
