Sick Kiss Star Prompts Cancellation Of Press Day

KISS have scrapped a major press conference in Los Angeles because one of the bandmates is seriously ill.

Details about the health crisis remain a mystery, and publicists are refusing to reveal who is sick - but it's serious enough to warrant the cancellation of the rock band's House of Blues media event, scheduled for Wednesday afternoon (21Apr10).

A spokeswoman for the band says, "The announcement will be rescheduled."

Yes, I guess the member is Paul. Hope it is nothing serious, some throat/voice problems and they have noticed that he can`t sing well and they want to listen what doctor says? Some conspiracy theories claims that they want to cancell the European tour because of bad ticket selling and also that vulcan theory which was announced before- was the cover story of member`s sickness?
Well hope that Kiss member (Paul?) is getting better soon and it is nothing serious and everything goes fine. That is the main thing!

Don't know about everything else but from what I heard tickets sales have been fine so far, something to keep in mind is their saying "Prompts Cancellation Of Press Day" so it could turn out to be the flu or something of the like we'll have to wait and see how serious this really is.

If there was any way of avoiding it they wouldn't go the 3 man band route for a show that has only ever happened under extreme circumstances.
It's hard to say what is going on here maybe the web site got something wrong we'll know more in the coming days

I would not worry too much until KISSonline.com announces anything.
Ticketsales in Europe were ''normal'' some gigs sold out quite fast - others still have tickets available - nothing to worry about.

Lets hope every things o.k.

Shannon Tweed has confirmed that NO band members are sick, everything is fine, and the press conference will be held early next week.
