There was a KISS Special on Swedish TV recently. It was really weird... kinda like a KISS Tribute Special from a fan point of view. It was about one hour and it was on national TV at the best time I was told.
It was mainly taped around 1995 BEFORE the Reunion, lots of footage from the New Jersey conventions, it also shows some footage from Gene & Paul at the Detroit convention 1994 taking back the "stolen" costumes and in court, footage from outside the Madison Square Garden 1996, Sebastian Bach, Dee Snider etc.etc.
It basically deals about fans talking about KISS as a band of the past (that was taped ca. 1995) and how badly they want a Reunion. It has lots of interviews of die-hard fans, and the weird thing is, it shows also some stuff after the Reunion and how bad things turned into recently, how people got away from Kiss, how disappointed they are now and that those people they interviewed in 1995 got into other things etc. It doesn't leave Kiss in a good spotlight at all. Very weird indeed this being on national TV... it looks more like a fan made project from an insider. It also shows some like-footage from Stockholm 1976!
