The latest rumour going around according to Metal Sludge anyway

"Paul Stanley leaves KISS!!!!, Gene's response apparently

is that he's gone directly to CBS and inked up a deal for a new installment of Rockstar. Reason? the contestants on this incarnation of Rockstar will consist of singers/guitarists who are, or have played "Paul" in the countless KISS tribute bands worldwide.

The reason Paul left KISS was to pursue a career on Broadway. Back in 1999, Paul landed the role of "The Phantom" in a Toronto production of The Phantom of the Opera."


well just a shock news to me you know .. anyway I cant say I blame him if it is true with this current line up and Gene off doing his Hollywood thing again...

As lon I don´t read anything on www.paulstanley.com I don´t believe that. Why should he? He always went up with both things well...

MetalSludge is notorious for their rumors. With :kiss: planning to tour in March 2008, I see this as a rumor and nothing more. Paul can do Phantom on Broadway... There is an entire year before the :kiss: tour which Eric Singer talked about at the NY Expo.
